Acceptable Use Policy
Revision 1.3.0 · Last updated 2026-09-19
This policy governs what you may and may not do with jkca.me surfaces. It exists because shorteners, file-drop, collaborative editing, and signing are routinely targeted for abuse; the site refuses to be a launderer for that abuse.
Prohibited content and use
- Anything illegal under U.S. federal law or the law of your jurisdiction.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Reports are forwarded to NCMEC per 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
- Phishing pages, credential-harvesting targets, malware distribution, or links to any of the above.
- Harassment, threats, doxxing, or content directed at a specific person without consent.
- Export-controlled technical data you are not authorized to export.
- Content that infringes a third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property right.
- Attempts to overwhelm, degrade, or bypass rate limits, CAPTCHAs, or access controls on any surface.
- Automated use that exceeds published rate limits without prior written authorization.
Surface-specific obligations
- Shortener (short.jkca.me) — by creating a link you affirm that the destination is not phishing, malware, or illegal content and that you have authority to redirect users there.
- Handoff (handoff.jkca.me) — by uploading a file you affirm that you own the file or have permission to share it and that it is not illegal content. Files that include CSAM will be reported to NCMEC and law enforcement.
- Sign (sign.jkca.me) — the signer identity you enter must be your own or a party you are authorized to represent. Forging a signature is fraud.
- Meet (meet.jkca.me) — do not record a meeting without the consent required where you and the other participants are. Several U.S. states require all-party consent to record a conversation. GDPR is a data-protection regime, not a substitute for those recording-consent rules. You are responsible for both.
- Docs / collaborative editing — do not publish content that infringes a third party's rights. The DMCA page describes takedown procedure.
- Drive (drive.jkca.me / *.drive.jkca.me) — do not upload files you are not authorized to store, preview, share, or delete in the relevant workspace. Tenant membership and Access identity boundaries must not be bypassed.
- Talk (talk.jkca.me) — encryption does not exempt the room from this policy. Do not use it to transmit prohibited content or to bypass Access identity boundaries.
Reporting abuse
Send reports to abuse@jkca.me with the URL, a short description, and evidence if available. For copyright specifically, see the DMCA notice procedure. Abuse reports are triaged by a human; confirmed violations result in content removal and may result in the reporter's IP being blocked from future submissions.
Enforcement
Violations may trigger immediate content removal, rate-limit tightening, IP blocking, cooperation with law enforcement, and forfeiture of any data stored under the offending session. The site does not refund or compensate for removed content.
